Position available: Workshop Foreman at Truck Body Building Company in Alrode.
Applications to be submitted by 31 May 2024.
Interviews will be held end May 2024 with successful candidates.
Start Date will be 1st June 2024.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Oversee and coordinate the planning, organizing, training, and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, profitability, employee retention, client service and satisfaction, of an excellent quality product.

Regularly measure and evaluate service levels and standards using client and employee feedback and develop plans for continuous improvement.

Be committed, to leaning and improving through reading & working with colleagues and management. Continuous education and self-development will be of highest priorities along with a commitment to coaching and developing entire management team and staff.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understands completely & conforms to all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.

• Manager all departments

• Ensure that clients feel welcome and are given attentive, friendly, and courteous service always.

• Ensure that all jobs and products are manufactured according to the company’s procedures and high-quality standards.

• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, sanitation, and deadlines through training of employees and by creating a positive and productive working environment.

• Make employment and termination decisions.

• Fill in where needed to ensure client service standards and efficient operations are always meeting client expectations.

• Continuously strives to develop staff in all managerial and professional areas.

• Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.

• Develop growth strategy/metrics.

• Oversee day-to-day operations.

• Understand and establish budget and financing.

• Ensure adequate staffing.

• Assess/verify team progress.

• Identify new programs as needed.

• Regularly report to executives.

• Identify future leadership officers.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Certified Vehicle Body builder or Boilermaker (Red Seal)

• 10 to 15 years’ Experience

• Age between 35-45

• Must have a verifiable track record.

MOTIVATIONAL ABILITIES

• Excellent communication skills

• Familiarity with budgeting/finance Analytic problem-solving style

• Comfortable in delegating roles.
