We are recruiting for a skilled, process driven IT Person to ensure optimal operations of our Client’s IT infrastructure and assist end users. This is a varied role requiring good knowledge of IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cyber security, operations, governance & frameworks and user support. Key duties will include but are not limited to:
Develop IT / data policies & procedures in line with legislation / POPIA.
Manage disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity – testing and DR environment set up.
Responsible for direct access to data within the company - accountability & identity, authorization, authentication, monitoring, access controls & attestation.
Change requests - track & test; separate environments; version control; meetings & forums etc.
Oversee IT Frameworks - governance; information security; cybersecurity; service management; IT risk management; software development; IT project management; enterprise architecture; penetration testing; strategy.
User support
Inventory and control of enterprise assets (hardware & software).
Organizational Information security & related policies.
Understand ISA 315 audit requirements
Audit Controls - liaison between auditors and in-house IT auditing tool used to measure company IT Frameworks compliance & ensure compliance with minimum requirements . Knowledge of Microsoft Baseline Network Security v1.5, Microsoft patch management, User administration foundations, Password configuration foundations and Vulnerability, exposure, and risk assessment are required to keep the compliance score at the satisfactory level.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems / related field.
5+ years’ post grad exp in a similar role dealing with IT infrastructure including networks, servers, cyber security, user support, operations, governance & frameworks.
Experience developing IT Policies and procedures.
Full understanding of ISA 315 audit requirements.
Strong critical thinking and decision-making ability.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and determine priority of own work.
